We kindly ask you to communicate your arrival time to us. This can be done at the time of booking or a few days before your arrival either by email, WhatsApp or by phone.

If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from reaching the property at the communicated time, you can contact Barbara using the mobile number +39 347 388 3557 to notify us of the delay or to get information on how to find us.

Upon arrival, please provide us with a valid identification document to complete all administrative and bureaucratic formalities.




Breakfast is served in the common area on the veranda, with a self-service buffet from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.

Room cleaning:
Cleaning of the rooms and change of bathroom towels is done every other day if the room is vacated by 10:30 am. Bed linens are changed weekly.

Extra cleaning and linen supplies can be requested for an additional fee. There is a €10.00 charge for each cleaning, €10.00 for each set of towels, and €10.00 for each set of bed linen.
Bathrooms are equipped with complimentary toiletries and hairdryers.

Television volume:
Guests are kindly requested to keep the television and any music equipment at a volume that respects the peace and harmony of the environment, especially during rest hours: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 11:00 pm to 09:00 am.

It is possible to connect to the internet for free in the common area, and we would be happy to provide you with the password. The use of Wi-Fi in the rooms is available for a fee.

Theft and loss:
We kindly ask you to keep your most valuable belongings safe as we cannot be responsible for items left unattended inside the property. Guests are given the keys to the room and the remote control for the gate. In case of loss, please inform us promptly. For safety reasons, please always lock the door to your room.

Parking is free. The parking area is not guarded, but it is located inside the property which is accessed through an automatic gate. There are no particular risks, however, we still recommend that you lock your cars and avoid using noisy car alarms that may disturb the peace.

Closing time:
The farmhouse is equipped with an automatic gate, therefore there are no time limits, all guests are independent.

Pets are always welcome in our agriturismo, but we kindly ask you not to let them climb on sofas and beds! In any case, out of respect for other guests near the rooms, pets must be kept on a leash.



Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms.


Waste sorting:
The agriturismo carries out waste sorting. Guests are asked to use the appropriate containers located in the area immediately at the end of our private road.


Extra heating appliances and open flames:
The use of extra heating appliances, irons and open flames in the rooms is prohibited.

Air conditioning:
It is recommended to set the air conditioning system at an ideal temperature while respecting energy saving.
In order to avoid excessive energy consumption and for better functionality, please pay particular attention to keeping doors and windows closed while the system is in use, especially when you are not in the room.

Kitchen and tableware:
Guests who have requested a double room but are assigned an apartment with a kitchen are invited to inform Barbara of their intention to use the kitchen so that the appropriate charges can be applied.
We kindly ask guests not to leave the dishes outside the kitchen.

Reporting of Breakages:
Kindly guests are requested to report any accidental damages caused during their stay, as well as stains on bedspreads and curtains, floors, and walls.

Reporting faults and inconveniences:
Prompt reporting of faults or other inconveniences would be greatly appreciated, as it will help us improve our services.

For the respect of everyone:
  • We invite our guests to adopt a respectful behavior towards the peace and relaxation of other clients, especially during daytime and nighttime rest hours.
  • The guest is obliged to respect the environments, equipment and furnishings that are found in the agriturismo.
  • It is forbidden to introduce strangers to the agriturismo into the rooms or common areas, except by agreement.
  • We also ask to be respectful of the environment, animals and to minimize waste.
  • Some of the company areas are prohibited or closed, for the safety of all we ask to respect the prohibition signs.
  • Children inside the agriturismo must ALWAYS be accompanied by a responsible adult. Il Vecchio Ginestro declines any responsibility for accidents that occur to children left unattended./li>
  • We reserve the right to request compensation for any damages to animals, plants, objects, furnishings and equipment.


Reservation and Confirmation:
Reservations can be made either by phone or by email. Once availability has been verified, we will respond within 24 hours of the request.
The reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit, by bank transfer, equal to 30% of the total amount, unless otherwise agreed.

From 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on the day of arrival. Since we are located on an island, we understand that it is often impossible to respect these times, which is why we invite you to communicate your needs to us in order to agree on the time of your arrival together.
Each guest is required to present a valid personal identification document.
After 24 hours of delay from the expected arrival time, and in the absence of communication, the Management reserves the right to cancel the entire reservation at its discretion.

By 10:00 am on the day of departure.
Please do not leave any food or drinks inside the room.
In case you need to stay longer, please communicate this in advance to allow us to better organize our activities.
Early departure does not entitle you to any refund.

The balance of the stay must be paid by the day of departure.
The methods of payment accepted at our facility are: cash, debit cards, and credit cards.
Any multiple or special invoicing requests must be made no later than the day before departure.

Tourist tax:
The Municipality of Arzachena has established a tourist tax which applies from June 1st to September 30th and is set at 1.5 euros per person aged 12 years and over. This tax is only required for the first 7 days of your stay.

Cancellation policy:
Cancellations must be communicated via email or fax.

Cancellation fees:
A) Up to 60 days before the arrival date, no penalty will be applied and the 30% deposit will be fully refunded.

B) From 59 to 15 days before the arrival date, the deposit will be refunded only if we are able to reassign the room.

C) From 14 days before the arrival date, the entire deposit will be retained.

Personal information usage – Privacy

Personal data and any other information acquired by our company during the performance of the contract will be subject to confidentiality and will be processed with respect for the confidentiality and rights of the individual through the systematic application of appropriate measures for the protection and guarantee of personal data, both in paper and electronic format, measured to the specificity of the data itself (whether simple personal data or sensitive or judicial data).

In accordance with Legislative Decree no. 196/03, the customer is informed that their personal data will be processed only for the purposes determined by the contractual relationship, including accounting and administrative purposes.

You have chosen a vacation in direct contact with nature, so please help us respect and protect the environment by limiting water and electricity consumption.
